Chefs allover the world wear crocs every day of their lives. The reason for this is they are comfortable and chefs are on their feet atleast 8 hours a day. Being a chef is a lot more difficult than you may think and ooooh I would love to see you jump in a busy kitchen. I bet you couldn't stand a half an hour in one. You don't know anything about these people so don't judge them. People like you really suck.kristennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7936691594811652283.post-79210782280296851622010-05-24T17:30:18.157-07:002010-05-24T17:30:18.157-07:00I couldn't agree more. Why do people with the worst looking feet always wear flip flops or sandals? Your post reminded me of a big to-do a few years back when the woman's soccer (I think) team went to the White House. The WaPo printed a pic of the team with the President and many were wearing flip-flops. Clueless.David Deibelnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7936691594811652283.post-87370963184068260862010-05-20T15:55:38.858-07:002010-05-20T15:55:38.858-07:00"...but I really don’t want to be sitting nex..."...but I really don’t want to be sitting next to someone who is exposing his dirty, untrimmed toenails. Not on the subway, not in a restaurant, and not in a $160 seat at the theater." Thank you, Bitter Old Queen!!! I've been saying that for years. Clean your nasty feet or keep them in socks and shoes. We were at the theater last night ("Sondheim on Sondheim" - go see it if you haven't already) and some people looked like they just came from the gym or the recycle center. I wonder if Batali's restaurants have any kind of dress code?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
